1st Malaysia Organic Conference

[The Development and Future of the Local Food Farming Industry]

From gaining awareness to taking action, we need to rely on the supply chain (the supplier, seller and consumer) for their adoption and support. In recent years, Malaysians are showing higher awareness towards environmental protection and importance of organic. However, there is a need in gaining support from government in implementing the policy and uniting the players in this industry.

To establish a strong foundation, we must commit to integrating and promoting environmentally sustainable planting practices within the supply chain, thereby fostering industry solidarity. Through such unity, the government can provide greater support for policy formulation and enforce legislations more effectively. By working together to create a conscientious cycle, we can ensure the long-term viability of the organic industry.

“Helping farmers, retailers and consumers to plant, sell and purchase with peace of mind”

Baba is actively promoting organic farming in Malaysia and is also the first non-government organization which established organic certification system in Malaysia. With the vision to make this world a better place, we also provide organic certification subsidy, hoping that we can encourage more farmers to convert to organic farming.

Hence, Baba built further on the momentum and created the [Malaysia Organic Conference], with a primary emphasis on “The Development and Future of the Local Food Farming Industry” as the central theme of the conference.
