How Baba plastic pot biodegrade?

Accordingly to ASTM 5526

ASTM D5526 is an anaerobic biodegradation test that is used to determine anaerobic biodegradation of plastic materials under accelerated landfill conditions.

Conclusion

Results from this study demonstrate Baba pot will biodegrade in accelerated landfill environments as would be found in actively managed modern landfills.

There is no reason to expect this degradation to stop or plateau, should biodegradation continue at this rate.

ASTM D5526 test shows that biodegradation can be expected to range between 2% and 12% for every 107 days.

It is expected that complete biodegradation will occur in approximately 2-9 years in varying landfill conditions.

Shelf Stable Solutions

Baba™ Biodegradable Pot still maintain the same physical characteristics as traditional plastic. Biodegradation of Baba™ Pot will happen in landfill or waste environments through naturally occurring microbial activity, and are not affected by light, heat, moisture, UV rays or oxygen.
