Seed Sowing Guide
Seedling:
Prepare Baba seedling soil and seedling pots. Fill up the seedling tray or seedling pots with seedling soil, use finger gently make a small hole, put in 1 seeds and cover with a thin layer of soil.
During seedling stage, put under shaded area and make sure water thoroughly daily. When there is sprout, then move it to area with direct sunlight.
♥♥ Extra Tip: Before put in seed into soil or before transplant, you could water the seedling mix or potting mix first. This is to ensure the potting mix get enough moist and prevent plants get dehydrated later.
Transplant:
When the seedling with 3-4 leaves (around 14-28 days after germination), the seedling is ready to transplant.
- Ready a suitable size pot, the minimum depth of the planting container is 250mm. Such as EG-310, RD -310 or OT-310.
- Fill up the planting pot with Baba Organic Vegimix, and make holes to prepare for transplant.
- Take out the seedling from seedling pots, and put into the hole. Press gently on surrounding soil, to make the seedling stay firm.
- If you manage to germinate more than 1 seedling, you may put two seedlings in one pot. After 14 days, keep the stronger plant and remove the weak plant from the pot.
♥♥ Extra tips: Chili Solok easily attract pest or fungus, you may add in 25% Baba Compost-Based Fertilizer into soil. Baba Compost-Based Fertilizer help the plant to grow stronger.
Fertilizing:
Put Mr. Ganick 532 Organic Leafy Fertilizer on 7th days after transplant. After that, repeat fertilizing on every week, for a month.
One month later, or when the plant start flowering, change the fertilizer to Mr. Ganick 426 Organic Melon Fertilizer. Repeat weekly too.
Dig a small hole beside plants, and put in fertilizer, then, cover the fertilizer with a thin layer of soil.
Water after done fertilizing.
Watering:
Moist is important for Chili Solok. Make sure soil always enough moist and water it when needed.
Water thoroughly on every morning is recommended.
Pest Control:
Chili Solok attract insect and fungi. Spray Mr. Ganick Dr. Neem once a week during evening time to repel pest.
Harvest Tips:
Chili Solok is ready to harvest after 75-90 days from transplanting date, or when the fruit turn red.
When the plant is healthy, you could enjoy more harvest and prolong the harvest period. A healthy plant could continue harvest for few months.
On time watering, fertilizing, and full sunlight is very important.
